Emwelt stands proudly among the nearly 400 organisations from 64 jurisdictions that have committed to advancing the adoption or use of the International Sustainability Standards Board’s climate-related reporting at a global level.
COP28 marks the two-year anniversary since the @International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) was created. Climate risks are increasingly having a real effect on companies and capital. Therefore – in response to calls for climate action at COP28 – we support the establishment of market infrastructure to enable consistent, comparable climate-related disclosures at a global level. We are committed to advancing the adoption or use of the ISSB’s Climate Standard as the climate global baseline.
The diverse signatories of this declaration, spanning continents and representing various sectors including companies, investors, stock exchanges, the accountancy profession, multilateral organizations, NGOs, universities, data analytics providers, corporate advisors, and more, symbolize a robust global movement. This collective support marks a significant milestone coinciding with the ISSB’s transition from creation to action, following the issuance of the first two ISSB Standards in June 2023.
